Let the Racing Begin

Its March already and Jeremiah is getting ready to roll to the startline of the season's first NORBA National. Until he finds a hotel lobby with wireless, you might find the details here.

So far this is the scoop. The team arrived in Texas on Wednesday afternoon, just minutes after Chris E's first care package from home got there. Newlyweds :) I am told that the team had a great time at a dealer visit, met some new friends, reunited with the Southeast Factory Team riders, and had a great mexican buffet dinner afterwards. Some pics are on the way, look for them in the gallery soon.

Thursday Jeremiah prerode the course and he tells me it is really packed with singletrack. A true "Dan Comber course" he called it... but only without the mud.

Friday starts the Pro Stage Race, but Jeremiah thought he would do one better and throw in the Marathon race while he was at it. So look for him to race against some of the toughest Marathon experts there are... word is that Karl Platt and Carsten Bresser (A.K.A. winners of TransAlp, TransRockies, and the Cape Epic) will be racing the Marathon too.

That race is about 60 miles. Not too many mountains in Texas, so expect a quick finish time. After that Jeremiah will take to the dirt again in the first actual stage of the weekend, the Time Trial.

Can't wait to hear how it goes, and if Jeremiah doesn't get to update his blog, check back to this page and I might.

Oh, if you see Jeremiah this weekend.... ask him how a goat managed to take over his hotel room. No joke.

Happy Friday,
Erin
